El Dorado Library
The El Dorado Library is open everyday from 7:30 to 3:00 with a full time credentialed teacher-librarian. All classes visit the library once a week for lessons related to literature and information science as well as various STEAM topics that emphasize creative, critical and analytical thinking. The goal of each library lesson is that students will gain knowledge, inspiration and a love of learning through access to topics based on personal interest. Not only will students have opportunities to check out books from our fabulous collection but they will also create, explore and build upon new found knowledge through the use of print, digital and makerspace materials within the library space.
1st-5th grade students also have opportunities to visit the library on their own time during recess.
